The President of the Somali Amputee Football Federation, Mr. Hassan Hagi, speaking from the city of Turku in Finland, emphasized that players with disabilities need full support from all sectors the community, institutions, and government.
“Amputee sports are not just entertainment,” said Mr. Hassan. “They are a platform to showcase ability, confidence, and the right to full inclusion in society. It is a clear message that everyone has a vital role to play in their community.”
He also extended his heartfelt thanks to Hub Toimintakeskus for their support and warm welcome, acknowledging their commitment to inclusion and empowerment through sports and community engagement.
